A good old friend of mine was creating this certainly weird and beautifully strange painting after watching Showtime’s “Dexter” and having city lights in mind. I may not know if I have his permission to share it with the world of Tumblr, but fuck that for now, he was cool, this is cool, I feel cool… and bloody.

In my seventeens I became obsessed with every oldschool samurai movie I could get my eyes to absorb. And this special scene, this “moment of awareness”, from the great noir samurai movie “Three Outlaw Samurai” by Hideo Gosha, has been haunting me all the years as something I wanna do if I would (or should) become a director. The samurai fight scenes are the coolest, smoothest, and filled with much fighting spirit.
